Toon Creator Awards 2010 School Contact Program

Cartoon Network engaged Perceptions, Inc. to help increase awareness about and encourage participation amongst kids in the Philippines in the Toon Creator Awards, its initiative with the aim of encouraging kids across Asia Pacific to unleash their creativity via technology. Through the Toon Creator Awards School Contact Program (SCP), Perceptions conducted presentations and hands-on computer trials in a total of 15 private schools. These schools included Ateneo de Manila Grade School, Brent International School, Mahatma Gandhi International School, St. Paul College Pasig, Reedley International School and Xavier School, among others. More than 3,000 students participated in these school visits, and an estimated 17,000 students were also made aware of the Toon Creator Awards via the distribution of posters and sharing of the e-newsletter on school websites and networks.

Tourism Malaysia

"Tara na sa Malaysia" Travel Fair

Perceptions was commissioned by Tourism Malaysia to handle all design, advertising and publicity aspects of "Tara Na Sa Malaysia," the first ever travel fair that was organized by Tourism Malaysia in the Philippines.

Perceptions took care of the overall campaign design including logo conceptualization and application in various event collaterals such as streamers, banners, backdrop as well as print advertisements. Perceptions also handled strategic advertising placements in print publications and FM radio stations, and implemented a comprehensive PR strategy that involved pre–event, event and post-event publicity that helped create buzz around the event and drive traffic to the fair.

Firefly Elctric and Lightning Corporation

Firefly Christmas Tree

In an effort to promote the use of energy-efficient Compact Fluorescent Lights among Filipinos, Firefly Electric & Lighting Corp. embarked on a publicity project that aimed to create awareness on the brand, its products and company initiatives specifically on the Firefly Christmas Tree and Palit FCFL program which began in November 2009. The main highlight of the project was the lighting of the largest eco–friendly Christmas Tree in Metro Manila. The 67–foot tree was a tool that helped strengthen the association between Firefly and eco–friendliness. Perceptions took care of all publicity requirements for this, which included staging the press conference during the unveiling of the tree, broadcast pitches and press releases.

Maximum exposure was achieved for this campaign which gained substantial coverage in the country’s leading print, broadcast and online media.
